A phantom image, haunting like a bird of prey, is illuminated from behind with a lightning's flash. It bursts in and out of our awareness, to return to its camouflage of darkness. It is a chimera; existing together as unidentified flying object, pyramid and all-seeing-eye.

The project INVISIBLE / INVINCIBLE depicts an image of a transformed F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Bomber. This transformed image has both qualities of being a symbol of terror and having a terrific form. From its supposed 'invisibility' to detection comes its 'invincibility' to possession or destruction. Like the eye of the pyramid, it is hovering, waiting and watching. This project is about witnessing a random occurrence, a mystery, in the way of light, form, appearance and disappearance.
